Summary Welcomes customers, answers their questions, helps them locate items, and provides advice or recommendations. Operates scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics. Balances the cash register and generates reports for credit and debit sales. Accepts payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer. Processing refunds and exchanges, resolves complaints. Bags or wraps purchases to ensure safe transport. Follows all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items. Maintains a clean workspace. Responsible for counting the contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Under direct supervision, capable of performing a wide variety of jobs including the most complex. - Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring moderate judgment.
